Over our comprehensive 5 and 6-week courses and 1-off workshops, we combine our years of professional training experience and bang up to date knowledge to give you and your dog the ultimate head start. Held at easily accessible, local outdoor venues, our unique dual-trainer approach means you get double the guidance, personalised attention and proven techniques to raise a calm, confident and well-behaved family pet. (Please note: as we train outdoors to prepare your dog for real-world distractions, classes are subject to weather conditions.)

What We Cover
Puppy Paws Classes
- For puppies aged 12-24 weeks
- Puppy socialisation: Safe interaction with other puppies, people, and new outdoor environments.
- Core obedience: Teaching reliable responses for sit, down, stay, focus, coming when called plus loose lead walking.
- Problem prevention: Gentle solutions for chewing, play biting, jumping up, and toilet training.
Junior Paws Classes
If your 6-18 months old dog is "forgetting" their commands, has selective hearing, or is bouncing off the walls we can help.

Workshops
Special 1-off 90-minute workshops to tackle those problem areas that need a little more work.
- Loose lead walking - understand what makes your dog pull and how to reverse years of pulling

Price List
Puppy Paws Classes (for puppies 12-24 weeks old) just £94 for 5 lessons over 5 weeks. That's less than £19 per class!
Junior Paws Classes (for dog 6-18 months old) just £99 for 5 lessons over 5 weeks. That's less than £20 per class!
Clever Paws Workshops from £40 for 90 minutes (for dogs 6 months and older).
And because there are 2 of us and we keep our classes small, you and your dog get the attention you need.
How It Works
1. Contact us
Tell us which class you are interested in, a little about your puppy or dog and what your personal goals are.
2. We send class/workshop details
You ask us to add you to our current wait list.
2. Confirm your booking
We'll send you an invitation/invoice and training agreement. Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
3. Start Your Training Classes
We'll work with you to build confidence, calm behaviour and good habits.
Please note: Each course is a collaborative event co-hosted by Jo's Pet Services and Fur, Paws & Fun. Both entities operate as independent sole traders. Course fees are non-refundable once booked.
Our Weather Policy
Since we train outdoors, we track the weather closely. If a session is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, we will text you a WhatsApp alert at least 2 hours before class and roll that week's session over to the following week.

What age should puppy training start?
As early as possible. Training can begin as soon as your puppy has completed their vaccinations.
Do sessions take place at home?
No. Although we both offer 121 training at home, classes and workshops are operated at local outdoor venues.
Do you use reward-based methods?
Yes, working in collaboration, Jo’s Pet Services & Fur, Paws & Fun classes use positive , reward-based methods.
What if I only need help with one issue?
You can book a single session with either Jo or Becky for 1-to-1 focused support, outside the class environment.
When will I need to pay?
You have 48 hours from receipt of the invitation, after that time, we offer the place to the next person our wait list.
