A Typical Wedding Day
Before the ceremony:
I collect and prepare your dog.
During the ceremony:
I make sure your dog is comfortable, calm and ready for their special appearance.
During photographs:
I help coordinate your dog so they can be part of your wedding photos.
Afterwards:
I continue caring for your dog, whether that means a walk, rest, transport home or other agreed arrangements.

A personal note from Jo: Your dog is your best friend, so it's natural that you should want them at your wedding. But venues are loud, crowds are distracting and wedding dresses are easily muddied. That’s why, if you're not sure your dog would be a good guest, I don’t just show up on the day and hope for the best. My Extended Packages include 5 dedicated 1 hour pre-wedding training sessions. I'll teach your dog to handle the noise, walk nicely down the aisle and ignore the distractions. You'll get the perfect wedding photos, your guests will enjoy the day, and your dog will be calm and happy.

How Jo's Wedding Chaperone Process Works
1. Send an Enquiry.
- Tell me your wedding date, venue, and what role you’d love your dog to have.
2. Initial Consultation.
- Usually by phone.
- I'll discuss with you your wedding plans, venue, timings and your dog’s personality and needs.
2. Meet & Greet.
- A pre-wedding, face-to-face meeting so you and your dog are familiar with me.
- Plans are finalised.
- Contract and safety documents are completed and signed.
3. Wedding Day Planning.
- You won't need to worry, I'll co-ordinate with your venue, photographer or wedding planner if needed.
4. The Big Day.
- You'll be able to relax knowing that your dog is in safe hands.
5. Safe Return Home.
- After the celebrations, I'll safely return your dog home or to an arranged location for your complete peace of mind.

Do you transport dogs?
Yes. My vehicle is set up for safe transportation.
What if my dog gets overwhelmed?
Your dog’s welfare comes first. I’ll provide breaks, calm handling and remove them from stressful situations if needed.
How far in advance should we book?
I intentionally limit the number of advance bookings I take each month so that I can keep space available for last-minute enquiries.
