Wedding Chaperone Service
What does a wedding chaperone do?
I manage your dog's safe transportation to and from the venue, handle pre-wedding exercise to burn off excited energy, and assist during the ceremony or photo session. I also make sure they have water, toilet breaks and constant care and attentions before safely returning them home or to your chosen accommodation.
Will my dog be included in the ceremony?
Absolutely, if that’s what you want. I can assist your dog in playing any special role you desire—from ring bearer duties to mingling with guests for photos. I coordinate directly with your photographer to capture the best memories.
What if my dog gets stressed or anxious?
Your dog's welfare is always my top priority. I watc their body language and provide them with quiet time-out as required, because the hustle and bustle of a wedding day can be overwhelming even for the most well-socialised dog.
Are you insured for weddings or just dog walking?
Yes. As a professional wedding chaperone, I hold specific wedding chaperone insurance which includes public liability, care, custody, control, and pet transport.
When should we book our wedding chaperone?
Since weddings book up quickly, it is highly recommended to book as soon as you have your date and venue secured. A small non-refundable deposit will lock in your date and the current price, however far in advance you make your booking.
Will you meet my dog before the big day?
Yes, definitely. A pre-wedding consultation and "meet and greet" are standard to get to know your dog's temperament, routine and specific needs. For dogs that need extra bonding time, walks can be arranged.
What do we need to provide on the day?
Typically, you just need to provide your dog's usual leads, harness, collars, medication, and any specific dietary food or treats. If you want your dog to wear something special, you’ll need to let me have that too. Everything else, I’ll take care of
